I like making stuff.
I am a Software Developer with 2 years industry experience, having recently finished a Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship with a web development company and I’m eager to take my next steps in the industry. I've always enjoyed building things, and throughout my professional experience in software development, I've really enjoyed working on different projects, being exposed to new technologies and programming languages.
I’ve worked with a variety of different languages throughout my software development career. My main skills are in web development languages like PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as MySQL, which I learnt how to use as an apprentice. Python was the first programming language I learned, and it formed the basis for how I first learned to code in school. I've taught myself other languages or frameworks like Lua and Vue JS for my own individual projects and my personal development. I'm always looking to expand my skillset and look for projects and opportunities that will introduce me to new languages and challenge me to learn something new.
Apprenticeship Portfolio
As part of my Apprenticeship, I built a portfolio of work to demonstrate the different projects I worked on, along with a larger final project.

Trench Defence Game
For my A Level Computer Science final project, I created a basic 2D game from an original idea, Inspired by retro games and flash games I used to play when I was younger.
